Meet the Author and Illustrator

Born to Jamaican parents in 1983 Rob grew up in Brockley, south east London.  The sounds of reggae artists like Dennis Brown, Beres Hammond and Garnett Silk regularly filled his house.

These Rich sound rooted in African culture helped cultivate his passion for art and storytelling, to blossom into the works we enjoy today.

After embarking on a journey of discovery the livity of Rastafari revealed itself through the words of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I's words. As his understanding of Rastafari grew so too did his search for a purpose within the culture.  Whilst reasoning with an elder he learned that there was disproportionate representation of Rastafari within children's books.

After that reasoning Robs purpose within the culture was found, his talents as an illustrator had to be used to create Rastafari children's picture books.
